BLACK SUMMER TRUFFLE

Tuber Aestivum

Widely known as "Scorzone", it is derived from the characteristic of this Truffle to have a rough and warty bark.

 

This Black Summer Truffle is relatively hardy compared to its cousins. It also has the weakest aroma among all truffles. A sweet, earthy scent, tinged with hints of hazelnut. It is recommended to pair the summer truffle with any of our truffle products.

WHITE SPRING TRUFFLE

Tuber Borchii Vitt / Tuber Albidum Pico

 

Also known as the Bianchetto, the White Spring Truffle has a unique, more pungent garlicky aroma compared to the White Winter Truffle.

BLACK AUTUMN TRUFFLE

Tuber Uncinatum Chatin

 

The aroma is similar to the hazelnut and is more intense than the Black Summer Truffle. The marbling is initially whitish, then hazel and in the end, brown with crowded whitish veins. It is recommended to pair this truffle with any of our truffle products.

HUNGARIAN HONEY TRUFFLES

Mattirolomyces Terfezioides

 

They have a nice, mildly fungal aroma that finishes very sweet – similar to honey ; and are perfect for dessert applications. Can be found in commercial quantity exclusively in Hungary
